We need to talk about Carillion: lessons for the public sector

Starting 02 October 2018 10:00 through to 02 October 2018 15:15

This conference, organised by the LGA in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council, focusses on lessons learned following the collapse of Carillion early in 2018 and represents a significant opportunity to share information with peers, including other councils who were directly affected by the collapse, and participate in a number of panel and discussion sessions to consider:

   • How councils and the wider public sector were affected by the collapse of Carillion
   • How we responded to the collapse
   • What lessons have we learned and what do we still need to know?
   • Contingency planning and working together differently in the future.
