Henley Forum 19th Annual Conference

Amplifying our practice: Boosting organisational performance

Wednesday 6 – Thursday 7 March 2019

Here to advance practice

This conference is focused on practice. It takes the view that, how we carry out and continually improve our professional work matters. It matters for us, and it matters for our organisations.

As professionals, evolving our practice helps us to stay fresh and relevant. And it helps our organisations to adapt in the face of increasing technological, social and competitive pressures.

Whether we are enabling knowledge to flow, learning to be absorbed, change to catch hold, or innovation to flourish, we must raise our individual and collective game. That means continuing to develop our thinking, hone our skills and find new ways to amplify the effects of our leadership and professional practice.

As with sports teams or musical ensembles, elite organisational performance is about much more than individual players. Learning to appreciate and integrate the strengths of other professionals can help us to amplify our collective practice and boost organisational performance.
