ENRD publication on local food and short supply chains. A very good summary of the diversity of approaches across Europe and the fit with European Rural Development Policy. I contributed rather late on in the process and inputted from a Scottish perspective... http://enrd.ec.europa.eu/publications-and-media/eu-rural-review/en/eu-rural-review_en.cfm

We have also elaborated some more short supply chain and food projects in the ENRD RDP-projects database. E.g. LounaFood Centre in Finland Fish and farmers market in Hungary Gourmet food Penhas Douradas in Portugal I have worked on these above, but there are more and it's a work in progress, so you can regularly check for updates here .

There is a new material from the ENRD illustrating how National Rural Networks contribute to food supply chains. While trying to explore what is the added value of networking in a wider sense, the NRNs have shared their success stories (nearly 100), using narrative inquiry (expressing how they view success of networking). Here they are: Farmer's Market in Slovakia Cooperation of local food networks in Estonia Training on home-made food production in Latvia Food and teritorry in Belgium-Wallonia Networks of cooperation in Cyprus Support to producer groups in Poland and UK-Wales Mediterranean Quality Agricultural Products in Med Cluster Cooperation on agricultural fair in V4
