ENABLE Scotland have launched called Progress for Parents. I am now delighted to let you know that as part of this project we will be delivering an 8-week employability and personal skills course, with a current aim to start in early February 2021. Participants on the course will achieve an SQA-recognised Personal Development Award at Level 4.

The course will cover topics such as:
• Self Esteem and Confidence
• Budgeting and Managing Finances
• Employability Skills
• Group work project and peer support element

The course is open to parents/guardians of anyone under the age of 25 with a disability, living in Edinburgh. The course will be delivered via Zoom, with opportunities for one-to-one support if any group sessions cannot be attended due to childcare.

I have attached a flyer for the course and the Progress for Parents project. If you have anyone on your caseload at present who may be eligible, please do pass on this information. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a potential referral, please do not hesitate to contact me on 07889456192 or by email.

Best wishes,

Beth Stanners
