Woking Safe Haven - 24hr Pilot - Communication Pack (2) (1).zipUploaded by GEMMA JOHNSTON, 04/03/21 14:54 People experiencing a mental health crisis can now visit the Safe Haven in Woking for expert help at any time of day or night.
The Safe Haven is, until 31 March 2021, piloting extended opening hours to increase support for adults in crisis across Surrey. This is an important alternative to A&E for people requiring mental health support who do not need immediate help for physical health concerns.
People can visit the Woking Safe Haven in person to access support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from a Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust mental health practitioner and two trained Safe Haven workers who can provide a mental health assessment, if needed, and support. Woking Safe Haven is based at York Road Project, The Prop, 30 Goldsworth Road, Woking, Surrey GU21 6JT. It is one of five Safe Havens operating across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
Please download the communications pack and raise awareness among your networks.
