The Federation has recently published our 2012 edition of our south west home truths publication. This year's report warns less than 60% of the homes needed in the South West each year are being built, leading to high private rents, house prices and mortgage deposits. The average South West home now costs 11.5 times the average wage, with predictions that both rents and house prices are set to rise over the next five to 10 years. The report can also be found on our website here . Hard copies are available, please contact Leah Jackson on leah.jackson@housing.org.uk or tel 0117 9297388.
