Successful Online Group Facilitation

Overview: an interactive course where delegates will learn more about their role as a facilitator in creating an active and thriving online group that delivers results for their team, project or organisation. Building on initial training this session includes a practical tips and techniques that you can use with your online group.

Objective: by the end of this course, you'll have a clear strategy to take your group to the next level. You will have learnt how to drive engagement, growth and activity, building key relationships between community members, and how to measure the success of your group.

Course outline:

The course content will cover the following:

  • understand the lifecycles of online groups and the members

  • examine why member participate and interact

  • consider the differences between offline and online facilitation

  • define the role of an online facilitator

  • introduce techniques to design engagement

  • identify ways to build relationship with the membership

  • introduce ways to grow the group

  • provide a range of techniques to identify results from the group

Who should attend?

  • Anyone interested in facilitating a group on the Knowledge Hub.

  • Current group facilitators.

It is recommended that you attend this course with members of your team.

All attendees are advised to register on the Knowledge Hub.
