This informative session will explore the most prevalent drugs in Scotland, their side effects and cover harm reduction - practical ways to help people reduce the negative consequences associated with drug use - which money guidance practitioners can use to help service users affected by substance misuse. The session will also highlight the unique financial challenges those with substance misuse issues experience, and where people can access help and support to tackle problemtatic drug use.

This session will be led by Crew 2000 and facilitated by the Money Guiders Scotland Network.

All Money Guiders are welcome to join.Drug trends will focus on the Scottish population but all other content (i.e. drug information, risks and effects, help available and harm reduction) is applicable to Money Guiders throughout the UK
