Health Literate Organisation workshop (5th December, 9am to 12noon, on Zoom)

This is an interactive workshop. Awareness of health literacy is a prerequisite for attendance at this workshop.

In this workshop, you will receive advice, with practical tools and examples, to bring the process of becoming a Health Literate Organisation to life. The focus is on:

• The key role of leadership and health literacy champions
• Co-production and service user involvement
• Improved written communication
• Improved verbal communication
• Colleague health literacy knowledge and capability
• The physical layout and signage within your organisation
• The importance of establishing your HLO goals and evaluating your progress

You will receive a copy of the slides we use, as well as the Health Literate Organisation planning tool.

You will also receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of this training course.
