​​​​​​​ There will be an Institute for Local Governance seminar on Consumption, Recycling and Waste on Friday 15 March, 9.30am - 1pm in the Council Chamber at North Tyneside Council. "Against the background of environmental and financial pressures, this seminar addresses the challenges of contemporary patterns of consumption and resource use in the so called 'throwaway society'.
