About

Intrapreneurship has been described as entrepreneurship's forgotten little brother or sister. Usually defined as the art of being enterprising within an organisation, it is as challenging as entrepreneurship.

The intrapreneur, unless they have full support of their employer, faces just as many challenges as the entrepreneur. But they are different challenges.

For the second of our RSA Scotland and EDAS "Can A Nation Create Entrepreneurs?", we are going to examine just how easy, or difficult it is for innovation to flourish within an organisation.

We are always being told of the need for public, private and third sectors to be more enterprising. What does this actually mean? How easy is it to do something different? What gets in the way? Who gets in the way? Can it be done and if so, how?

Do you work in an organisation where the default position is "yes" but somehow nothing ever happens?

This is a chance to find out what really happens to enterprising people and innovative approaches which try to take root in organisations and companies.

The format for this second session is the same as the first successful, and sold out event. Once again we will hear from expert witnesses followed by discussion.  However, such was the demand, this time, we will expand the discussion time and there will be greater opportunity to explore and discuss the issues and opportunities arising.

Fee (Excluding VAT):
EDAS & RSA members: £55
Non Members: £65
