Invite to Consultation Event, September 3rd 2012, Edinburgh

The Existing Homes Alliance Scotland is a coalition of organisations calling for urgent action to transform Scotland's existing housing stock and make it fit for the 21st century. It includes representatives from WWF Scotland, Energy Action Scotland, the Scottish Building Federation, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, the Energy Saving Trust, Chartered Institute of Housing, and Association for the Conservation of Energy, Consumer Focus Scotland and Verco.

The Scottish Government is currently consulting on a Sustainable Housing Strategy for Scotland. The strategy will be central to tackling fuel poverty and climate change. This event is an opportunity to contribute to the consultation, shape the response of the Existing Homes Alliance and hear from the Scottish Government and other stakeholders.

The event is being held at The Chartered Institute of Housing, 4th Floor 125 Princes Street Edinburgh EH2 4AD on the Monday 3rd September 2012,

12.00 – 4.15 A Buffet Lunch will be available.

Dr Brenda Boardman, Environmental Change Institute, author of Achieving Zero
Representatives of the Existing Homes Alliance Scotland

The event is free to member’s and supporters of the Existing Homes Alliance Scotland. For all others there is a charge of £30
