- discussing the online resources available to help GIS users produce cartographic products

- demonstrating how to make the most of ArcGIS Online from a cartographic perspective. 

The delegates will have the opportunity to bring along their own maps for an expert critique on their map design.

Summary

While GIS has revolutionised the way people use geographical data, for many, the process of turning these data into meaningful information is either elusive, too time-consuming, or both. This workshop will examine the value of incorporating good cartographic design in your workflow and demonstrate a range of practical ways to improve the quality of maps in your GIS.
