Why attend?
 
As we know, mapping and location-based technologies are now not the preserve of Cartographers and GIS Professionals alone. Location-aware smartphone apps, geo-coded 'Tweets', crowed-sourced mapping and easy-to-use web maps are now inmainstream ICT and available to all.
 
The AGI and BCS want to embrace and encourage this cross-over and the new opportunities this brings to mapping and geospatial professionals. So take a break from your virtual social networks and develop your real professional and social network, both within our own discipline and the wider 'Geo' industries.

 

Who should attend?

This event is open to both AGI and BCS members, as well as non-members so all those involved with, or just want to learn more about, mapping and geospatial technologies are most welcome.
