Join us for a dynamic two part workshop on building inclusive online community engagement in neighbourhoods hosted by Steven Clift. The event runs from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, November 30th in Kingston Upon Thames Guild Hall.
-
1. Neighbours Online - Stories from real experiences. Who is doing what? What’s it for? Multiple models from around the world with social impact insights from E-Democracy’s public Neighbours Forum model.
-
2. Inclusive Community Engagement Online - Strategies and lessons you can adapt and use in your own community are emerging from the world's largest effort to inclusively connect 10,000+ diverse neighbors online in St. Paul, Minnesota.
We will brainstorm strategies for the Norbiton community in Kingston upon Thames as they launch their new Neighbours Forum with E-Democracy. Guests from other communities are welcome to attend and to adapt the lessons to their own projects using any platform they wish.
The seminar will be facilitated by E-Democracy.org. It is supported by the One Norbiton initiative in Kingston upon Thames.
Following the workshop after 4:00 p.m., attendees and those who could not make the training, are invited to join us at the Druid's Head pub.
