Caroline Marsh, Director, Caroline Marsh Management Solutions

The Criminal Justice System is undergoing enormous change, but the changes taking place are not just to the way in which services are commissioned. Over recent years the body of evidence in favour of the Risk, Needs and Responsivity model of offender rehabilitation has accumulated, but researchers and theorists have also extended our understanding of why offenders desist and highlighted the importance of individualised offender resettlement plans.

In this free to attend seminar Caroline and Chris will highlight lessons from the personalisation revolution in Health and Social Care and then consider whether any of these lessons could be applied in the Criminal Justice System.

Could personalisation be one of the ways to deliver innovative services commissioned on the basis of Payment by Results?

Could personalisation provide a framework for the implementation of the desistance model of offender resettlement?

Could personalisation provide a mechanism for delivering cost effective community justice and Justice Reinvestment in our most deprived communities?
