Evening Seminar - Mutli-Agency Domestic Abuse Commissioning

Events - Public

Starting 01 May 2014 - 18:00 through to 01 May 2014 - 20:01

Created by

As a Community Budget area from 2012-13, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Cheshire Police and other public sector partners have worked together under the Altogether Better branding to agree strategic priorities, share information, pool budgets, co-locate staff and jointly commission a range of transformation programmes.

One key programme has been addressing domestic abuse. Partners have collaborated to develop new pathways for referral, services for medium risk survivors, new offender interventions and new supports to high risk survivors.

In this free to attend seminar, Altogether Better programme representatives from CW&C and Cheshire Police will set out progress to date, initial costs and benefits and early lessons from what has been, in effect, a whole system recommissioning of domestic abuse services.
