esd-toolkit has a strong commitment to keeping the standards in esd-toolkit fit for purpose. We can’t do that without your help and as we have done in previous years, we have an Information Management workgroup dedicated to this task. Its membership is fluid from year to year and the workload on individuals is not onerous.

This meeting is for Information Professionals - so, if you work within the public sector on Information Governance, Knowledge Management, Records Management or Web Classification Schemes then come along and share your expertise with your peers.

• Moving from direct.gov to GOV.UK . A speaker from Local Directgov will describe the practical implications for councils and the continued role of esd standards
• Digital by Default - Local Directgov vision
• Update of work carried out on Local Government Services List
  • Changes in Local Government Service List 4.0 - description of the major update of the LGSL issued in May 2012. How have entries been standardised? What has been added and removed?
  • New A - Z of services - how is this structured and how can you use it to find services and improve your own council website
