The Blueprint for Careers: Supporting Employability and Career Learning in

Events - Public

Starting 23 May 2013 - 10:30 through to 23 May 2013 - 17:01

The Blueprint for Careers for England sets out an approach to the management of life, learning and work that will support individuals to make the most of their opportunities and deal with the challenges of the 21st century.

NIACE is offering one-day training in partnership with LSIS to introduce the Blueprint for Careers (England) and its uses.  By the end of the training session participants will be able to: identify the support and skills needed to manage careers throughout life; explain what the Blueprint for Careers is; understand how the Blueprint can support career and employability skills; relate it to their own working context; and, identify how they might use it for themselves as individuals.

Relevant to a wide range of organisations and individuals, participants who attended recent training in 2013 told us:

Can actively apply model to my own context

Useful to learners and relevant to the courses we deliver

Very knowledgeable [trainer]

Very informative, resources which I will be able to use with my learners

Would grade session as outstanding grade 1 ...clear objectives and outcomes
