Using programme management to achieve transformational change in an era of austerity.

This conference for anyone working in a programme environment that has an interest in delivering transformational change within, or on behalf, of an organisation. Those who subscribe to the adage that ‘necessity is the mother of invention’!

Maj Gen (Retd) Alan Macklin CBE, Director UK Government Acquisition & Support Programmes, CH2M HILL UK

Chief Superintendent David Stewart, Head of Business Change for Police Scotland and Alan White, Programme Office Manager, for Police Scotland.

Paul Mason Brown, Programme Director, West Mercia & Warwickshire Police Alliance

David Hawkins from the Institute for Collaborative Working. David is also the author of ‘Raising the Standard for Collaboration: Harnessing the benefits of British Standard 11000 - Collaborative Business Relationships, as well as numerous papers and journal articles. David will introduce BS 11000 and set out the common pitfalls and advantages to be gained by working to a common standard.

Jim Dale. Jim is currently undertaking doctoral level research, with the full support of the Programme Management SIG, in order to establish the first principles of best practice when embarking upon collaborative transformational change programmes. Jim will share his current research findings for the first time.
