To consider the implications of the National Code for regulators, health and safety practitioners and local authority service managers. Presentations from and a chance to question key speakers from HSE, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, the University of Stirling, local authorities and business.

The programme includes a panel discussion where you can put your own questions to the speakers.

You will also learn more about human factors in health and safety, including the reasons why some businesses are more likely to violate the rules than others – and how better to engage with them to secure compliance and worker protection.

This is a low-cost event promoted by the CIEH Scotland Region. Attendance, including lunch and refreshments, for £30 for CIEH members and £60 for non-members.
