Historic Scotland is holding a two day Energy Efficiency Conference on the 30th of September and 1st of October 2014 in Glasgow.

The varied two day programme will include presentations covering current and ongoing issues regarding energy efficiency and fabric improvements in traditional buildings from a mix of international and homegrown speakers, as well as the chance to visit with our many exhibitors over the two days.

Tuesday the 30th of September

Day one of the conference will look at international approaches towards a sustainable historic environment including climatic, economic and social impacts on the built heritage and presenting international research, initiatives and case studies.

Wednesday the 1st of October

Day two embraces a Scottish focus, providing updates on Historic Scotland’s research, current and emerging legislation, technical solutions and case studies. Come along for a day of presentations, discussion and to speak with our many experts.
