Succeeding in the new world of health and wellbeing will place different pressures on the workforce, and in particular on its skills mix which is set to be overhauled to give greater emphasis to ‘soft’ skills. Creating, supporting and embedding effective high performing teams is a real challenge, communicating across traditional boundaries, each with its own historic culture and ways of working.  Those who are going to succeed in this new and challenging complex environment will be prepared to embrace and invest in building their teams and developing their leaders.

This one day workshop, facilitated by Dr Catherine Hannaway and Lester Freckleton is designed for those leading or working in health and wellbeing needing to raise both personal performance and team synergy. Individuals are very welcome to attend the workshop, but for even greater benefit pairs or small teams are encouraged to attend the event together.  It is aimed at those from a wide range of organisations from the NHS (Clinical Commissioning Groups, primary and acute care etc.), Public Health England, Local Government (Health and Wellbeing Boards, public health teams, elected council members, adult and children’s services, environmental health, public health protection and intelligence etc.), voluntary and social sectors, HealthWatch, private sector providers etc.

The closing date for this workshop is Wednesday 5th November 2014, at 5pm.
