1. Discussion in small groups about research issues

2. What's new in LG Infrom? - Juliet Whitworth (Local Government Assocciation) will provide an update on LG Inform, the LGA’s data benchmarking service for local authorities and the public

3. Working together to support resilience in disadvantaged neighbourhoods: the North West Coast Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care - Public Health Theme - Helen Bromley (Cheshire West and Chester Council)

4. New ways of modelling - Alasdair Robertson (i-three) will look at the use of simulation technology to support evidence based approaches to decision making and stakeholder engagement. The focus is on application of local data to support complex decisions in vital questions of public policy

5. Using MOOCs - Anne Cunningham (Blackburn with Darwen Council) will look at experiences of using Massive Open Online Courses

6. Social network analysis - Ken Barnsley (Blackburn with Darwen Council)
