This seminar will be of interest to those both experienced and new to local flood risk management, particularly those working in and with LLFAs. It will provide an overview of good practice in a variety of areas and provide an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, concerns as well as solutions. Delegates will gain:
- A better understanding of delivering successful partnerships to help manage local flood risk management.
- An understanding of how recent flooding has influenced activities of LLFAs and the delivery of Local Flood Risk Management Plans
- A useful insight into how some local authorities are tackling challenges of asset management and necessary maintenance.
- A chance to discuss the opportunities and challenges of providing local flood risk management
