As part of the 2015 EU Sustainable Energy Week high level policy conference in Brussels on 16th-18th June, the STEP UP project will hold a session on sustainable energy planning in cities. It will share best practice approaches and new ideas based on the actions and outcomes of the STEP UP project, including the creation of enhanced Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) and the experiences of the project’s learning network of cities.

The STEP UP session is aimed at any city that is developing a new SEAP or improving its existing SEAP, as well as any other delegates interested in other aspects of sustainable city planning. The event will feature presentations from the STEP UP partner cities and their colleagues in the STEP UP learning network of cities. Full details will be posted shortly, please check this page for updates.

If you would like to attend the STEP UP session, please register online at www.eusew.eu/policy-conference/programme. As numbers are limited we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment. Further information on the conference and EU Sustainable Energy Week can be found via the website: www.eusew.eu.

Following the conference session, STEP UP will also hold an informal networking event with drinks and snacks on Thursday, June 18 at The Beer Factory on the Place du Luxembourg in Brussels. Come along anytime between 13.00-16.00 if you would like to chat about STEP UP and sustainable city planning with local and European smart city leaders and practitioners from the public, commercial and research sectors.
