Free event – Shared perspectives on the outcomes of advice – Tuesday 27 October 2015

Hear about and help shape thinking on outcomes of advice at this all-day conference on 27 October at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Contributions from NHS Health Scotland, Citizens Advice Bureaux service, the Scottish Government, the Scottish Legal Aid Board, the Improvement Service, Money Advice Service and others.

Contribute to the national discussion on creating a fairer Scotland by exploring the developing role advice services play in tackling inequalities.

Give feedback on national projects to improve reporting on money advice and develop quality standards for advice.

Participants at this free event will:

  • Feed back on work that is being taken forward and shape its progress
  • Have increased awareness of the range of work being taken forward nationally
  • Explore ideas to take back to organisations and their own practice
  • Discuss common issues and build relationships across sectors
  • Understand how demonstrating impact for individuals relates to national strategy

Through active participation in discussions reflecting on:

  • Health outcomes from advice
  • Advice services and tackling inequalities
  • Money Advice Performance Management Framework
  • How the new accreditation model for Scottish National Standards for Information and Advice Providers supports achievement of outcomes
