In this interactive session Kate Bethune will discuss her experience of planning and curating ‘Savage Beauty’ the acclaimed exhibition featuring the designs of Alexander McQueen from its initial inception after its successful New York run to scoping the enhanced London show and successful London run.

Millie Graham will discuss the planning of London Fashion Week, an event run biannually in multiple London locations  to showcase the best of British design talent to a global audience from initial planning liaison with key stakeholders through to delivery and close.

Do you have a vision or challenging project? Can you imagine a project that showcases the work of a design genius or multiple design talent? Do you have to operate outside of your comfort zone? How do you realise your vision or deliver your project and still maintain a balance between your life and work goals?

This session will cover:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Leadership – how to inspire change
  • Identifying why and how to use others to help deliver your vision or project
  • How to lift your game – striving for the very best and what challenges you may face
  • Team working
  • An overview of London Fashion Week
  • An overview of  ‘Savage Beauty’ and Alexander McQueen

This focus will be on successfully delivering a vision or project.
