Critical linkages between value and benefits and SIG AGM
Events - PublicStarting 28 Jun 2016 - 17:45 through to 28 Jun 2016 - 19:45
Benefits Realisation Management, thanks in no small way to the APM Benefits Management SIG (BM), has emerged as one of the most critical activities for an organisation seeking maximum returns on its investment in change.
Another critical activity is Value Management (VM). If returns are not maximised there is value wasted. How much is wasted is relative to the cost and worth of the investment. In this seminar, Steve Parker explains the critical linkages between value and benefits, the startling alignment between VM and BM processes and hence the role of the Value and Benefits Manager, focusing on the essential difference between improving value for money as opposed to just improving value.
Steve Parker is a Value and Benefits practitioner, Chair of the Institute of Value Management (the UKs professional body dedicated to value improvement), committee member for both APM Value Management and Benefits Management SIGs and a reviewer of the 2010 APMG Managing Benefits Guide.
