The structures, systems and infrastructure of health and social care are changing rapidly. Integration of services and pooled budgets are becoming more commonplace. New partnership and collaborations are being formed, new Vanguard organisations are being created and new ways of working being implemented in pursuit of the vision outlined in the Five Year Forward View. 

But what about cultures and behaviours? Are they changing, forming and keeping pace with these new structures, systems and partnerships? Culture clash or culture club? How can we ensure that a place-based approach is meeting the health needs of all the communities that we serve – and supporting the principles of a personal fair and diverse NHS for our staff? 

This conference will explore the theory behind system and behaviour change; showcase some of the examples of culture change from both public and private sectors; and give delegates tools and tips for embracing inclusive change – at both a personal and an organisation level. Delegates will leave with a better understanding of how they can effect and affect change within their organisations through inclusive behaviours, systems and practices.
