The ambitious Digital Interviewing Project, winner of the APM 2016 Project of the Year award, has modernised critical infrastructure used by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) in their most sensitive cases. Originally scoped as a project to replace only the most unreliable victim interview recording devices, the Digital Interviewing Project grew into the improvement of the IT and building quality of every victim and suspect interview suite owned by the MPS - in the context of an increasingly strained budget and intense public scrutiny over past failings.
