The Governance SIG (Special Interest Group) has produced two new guides to help improve the governance of agile project work and co-owned projects. This talk expands on the guides and other governance issues.

Research has shown that governance plays a key part in project success or failure - improving governance is thus a strategic objective for many organisations.

The Governance SIG exists to improve the governance of project management. The talk will introduce the SIG and specifically the new Directing Agile Change and Co-owned Project Guides. It will present the rationale and the highlights of the guide to emphasise the modified governance behaviour required.
