Why project managers should be leading BIM

The UK has become a world leader in the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM). However, there is still a misconception that BIM can be ‘bought’ as though it is piece of software.

BIM is not software, it is a process. Who better to lead this process than a project manager?

Natacha Redon will draw on her experience implementing BIM to demonstrate that, whilst heavily utilising technology, BIM is fundamentally a process with the same features as traditional project management tools used in the construction industry.

She will explain how BIM is a powerful tool which enforces the best practices in project management. She will show delegates how this process can become a profitable service delivery method, one that future project managers may be expected to deliver as standard.
