This webinar will introduce participants to programme management: what it is and how it relates to other aspects of the project management profession.

The National Infrastructure Plan forecasts 728 major national projects and programmes worth £500 billion, with over half due to be spent in the next five years. These figures are dwarfed by the scale of change in the finance, health, education and scientific worlds. Therefore the need for a clear understanding of the relation between projects and programmes has never been greater.

This webinar will highlight what a ‘programme’ is – and what it is not – and how it relates to projects and portfolios in delivering beneficial change. We will cover the programme life-cycle and tools that practitioners may find useful in steering and assessing their work in this field.
