John Puzey

Director, Shelter Cymru

In 2015 Wales introduced a new legal framework aimed at radically changing the service culture of homelessness services. Its purpose is to provide a more universal response to people facing or experiencing homelessness, with prevention and partnership at its heart.

Now England are looking to take a similar course through the Homelessness Reduction Bill and in this free seminar John will share the Welsh experience by looking at the reality of implementation two years on. During his talk John will explore whether the legislation has made a difference to people facing homelessness and will also consider what lessons have been learnt and what more there is to do.
