The Knowledge and Community Network (KCN) is working with the Knowledge Hub for 3 years to run regular events for those interested in or are working in knowledge and community management.

The KCN is very pleased that Caroline Hoffmann will be providing us with a free webinar on Tuesday 11th May on her experience building a corporate community with suppliers and partners.

Background to session:

When co-founding the Innovation Hub bring together external technology innovators with a traditional multi-national corporation, Caroline created a large global network, focusing on strategic objectives resulting in growing an invite-only hand-picked sub communities.

The business rationale was based on the strong belief that the power of large networks only comes when you have the opportunity to develop meaningful human relationships in smaller specific communities. All structured around business priorities, delivered results in bigger, better, and more cost-effective achievement goals than before network existed.

All community activities followed a structured approach to help understand and connect to the target audiences’ intrinsic motivations. Along with opportunities develop real relationships and confirmed by community data to inspire stakeholders and new audiences.

Key areas of webinar Caroline will cover:

• Why a traditional corporation needs a community?

• From a large open online innovation networks to small, exclusive, invite-only offline communities – the steps

• The community activities

• Lessons learned and top tips
