The APM SWWE PM challenge is designed to promote the project profession in the region and inspire local project managers of tomorrow.

Eight teams have entered this year's competition, aiming to benefit charitable organisations across our community.

The eight teams are made up from students and staff from Atkins, Babcock International Group, Frazer-Nash Consultancy, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College and Turner & Townsend.

The teams presented their project plans for assessment just before Christmas 2020. These were assessed by the project board, and feedback was provided. The projects have been implemented, and the teams submitted their project final reports at the end of March 2021. 

The project board has assessed the reports and selected four down-selected finalist teams who will deliver their presentations at the SWWE finals night. From this, the winning team and runners-up will be selected and receive their awards. The other award to be presented at the finals night will be for the best project storyboard.
