May 24th – Towards a ‘PM Theory of Everything’

The Praxis Framework was launched in 2014 to integrate knowledge, method, competence and maturity for projects, programmes and portfolios linking national and international PM guidance. It provides a single set of processes and delivery resources using a standard glossary of terms.

This seminar will introduce the Praxis Framework and explore how it can help individuals, project teams, and organisations deliver beneficial business change.

June 25th – Putting a Positive Spin on Risk Management

Many organisations come to risk management from the perspective of dealing with the adverse effects of uncertain events. This is reasonable given a desire to avoid personal, financial, or reputational damage resulting from (say) Health and Safety events, to name one of many areas of the business concern.

This seminar will explore how positive “opportunity” risks should be handled and explore how participants should respond to several positive risk events.

July 23rd – Are You Sure You Are Doing The Right Assurance Reviews?

Good governance requires appropriate delegation within agreed control limits but needs to be backed up by focused assurance. Assurance reviews take time and effort to conduct and also impact the project(s) being audited.

This seminar will explore how to target the right areas to get the best value for money from our assurance activities.
