Women in the Criminal Justice System require an individualised, trauma informed and gendered approach in order to deliver effective rehabilitation. A whole systems approach which calls for prison, probation and voluntary and charitable organisations working with common purpose.

In this free seminar Pia will present the vision and ambitions of the newly formed Directorate of women. She will also highlight the risks associated with adopting a male oriented approach with women.

Pia will then highlight areas of innovative practice and discuss the new Directorate’s 5 year plan.
