At UWS, we understand that businesses continue to face significant challenges on a number of fronts. But we also know that many employers are already looking ahead to future opportunities and planning for the skills they will need to take their business forward

Our Graduate Apprenticeship (GA) programmes offer a high value, low cost option for employers to develop the talent pipeline they need now and for the future.

Developed and delivered in partnership with industry, GAs combine academic learning with professional practice in the workplace enabling apprentices to contribute quickly and effectively to productivity, and supporting employers to address skills gaps.

This is the second in our series of Develop your Talent Pipeline events and will showcase our successful Civil Engineering GA programme. Attendees will hear from current apprentices, Kirsty Smith (Ayrshire Roads Alliance) and Shona McCrea (GRAHAM Group), and Elaine Ellis, Skills Planning Manager (Skills Development Scotland) as well as members of the Programme Delivery team at UWS.

The event will also highlight some of our industry focused Continuing Professional Development programmes - from short courses to post graduate qualifications.
