The Bridgewater Hall Tour

Events - Public

Starting 18 Oct 2022 - 11:15 through to 18 Oct 2022 - 12:15

Built 26 years ago, The Bridgewater Hall has become a cultural landmark in Manchester, but it is also a building filled with hidden features and surprising facts.

This tour is for APM Members.

There are the acoustic features of the seats, the self-cleaning glass, the Ishinki Touchstone, the special foundations as well as the overall architecture of the Hall. All of this was delivered under the £42m budget.

You may also learn about the 2.2 second echo and wonder at the £1.2m Marcussen pipe organ with its 5,500 pipes.

When you arrive please wait in the main foyer for your host to join you.

As always with such visits, the numbers are limited so you are advised to book early.

For more information and to book your place please visit the APM website.
