Communications Lead Campaign to End Loneliness

The Campaign to End Loneliness was set up in 2011 to end loneliness in the UK.  This small policy and research organisation, which is the only UK organisation focused on loneliness, has successfully raised awareness of chronic loneliness and was part of a coalition which successfully called for the appointment of a UK Minister for Loneliness which we still have today.

This free seminar will help you understand more about loneliness and the impact loneliness has on our health and wellbeing. You will also find out more about the latest research on the factors that make more some people more likely to experience loneliness including Covid-19 and the most up-to-date evidence on how best to tackle loneliness.

This seminar will explore:

What is loneliness, why does it matter?

How Covid-19 has impacted on our experience of loneliness across the UK?

Who is most at risk from loneliness?  Focus on loneliness in London

Who is responsible for tackling loneliness?

Workplace loneliness explored - how can you support lonely colleagues?
