What is GeoCom?

GeoCom is the AGI’s flagship event, and the largest independent event in the UK GI calendar that is organised for geospatial professionals by geospatial professionals.

The conference brings together the geo community with networking sessions, panel discussions, industry expert presentations and thought leadership addresses from some of the nation’s biggest names in geospatial.

The one-day conference, which is open to members and non-members alike, is being held at the Royal Geographical Society in London on the 11^th of October 2022.

GeoCom 2022 – Sustainability in a Changing World

This years’ conference will be the AGI’s first in-person event in a post-lockdown UK. The event theme will look at how organisations are using GI to address sustainability in a world that is constantly changing and reacting to challenges and threats such as climate change, extreme weather events and livelihood crises.

Adam Burke, Chair of the AGI, commented;
