Progressive project professional: opportunities that social media present
Events - PublicStarting 22 Nov 2017 - 08:30 through to 22 Nov 2017 - 10:00
In a digital age, it is almost impossible to have no online presence. Like it or not, social media is influencing the way we view ourselves, and indeed other people.
Your digital footprint is something you can influence and take responsibility for, so we are delighted to be covering the topic of ‘Your Digital Footprint - Maximising opportunities across social media present’. The topic of this breakfast event will be focused around Social Media and how we can all use it to its fullest potential!
The breakfast session will cover:
- First an overview of the social media landscape; how companies and individuals are using social media; what are the benefits for us; and what are the options (i.e. Facebook, Linked In, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
- The second session will provide spotlight on LinkedIn; why we
should use LinkedIn and how we can get the most out of it. The
session will also look at what’s good and what’s not and provide
examples of good and bad practice.
Lis Anderson and Sarah Woodhouse are both Directors at Ambitious, an award-winning Bristol based PR communications agency. They each have expertise in helping businesses maximise the opportunities that social media present, managing regional to international clients. The team run Social Media Week Bristol, so it is fair to say we will be in safe hands.
The sectors we are strong in include technology and innovation,
creative industries, property and construction, education, high value
design and engineering, tourism and hospitality and professional
services - including financial services, law, recruitment and
management consultancy.
This event is suitable for professionals with all levels of experience.
