Join us for a free event with Pride UK Training and Consultancy focused around LGBTQ+ issues and with a focus on providing an LGBTQ+ inclusive workspace.
LGBTQ+ stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and “plus.”
About Pride UK Training and Consultancy CIC
Pride UK Training and Consultancy engages with organisations to explain current LGBTQ+ inequalities, giving examples of relevant evidence to support this and sharing information and resources that strengthen development of an inclusive LGBTQ+ organisational culture. They also provide the LGBTQ+ Inclusion quality standard Pride UK, see www.prideukqualitystandard.com.
What is this session for about?
As Money Guiders we spend our time helping others to manage their finances. Sometimes, there might be ways in which we do things that exclude or disadvantage colleagues or people we work with connected to LGBTQ+ issues.
At the start of LGBT+ history month, at this session we will learn about LGBTQ+ issues, history and how to be more inclusive with colleagues and customers.
Who is this session for?
Money guiders who want to learn about the background to LGBTQ+ issues and who wish to contribute to providing an LGBTQ+ inclusive workplace.

Technical Domain 1 Knowing Your Customer
This domain is about understanding who the customer is and their needs – which they may or may not be aware of – and draws on many of the cross-cutting behaviours and skills that underpin practice. It requires the practitioner to develop an understanding of their customers, including background, circumstances, expectations and goals.
