NLP in action: Elevating project communication and stakeholder engagement

Events - Public

Starting 21 May 2024 - 18:00 through to 21 May 2024 - 20:30

Excellent communication, both internally with the project team, and externally with stakeholders is essential to successful project delivery. This event will explain how to overcome common barriers to communication during a project, how to connect with your stakeholders in a meaningful way, and how to leverage the power of words for greater influence and collaboration.

Organisations face constant pressure to keep up with the relentless pace of change and disruption, whilst still adjusting to hybrid and remote ways of working. The number of projects and   list of priorities keeps increasing and project teams are expected to deliver at speed. When faced with challenging deadlines, it is easy to get focused on   getting the tasks done. This can be at the expense of maintaining regular communication flows or dealing with disgruntled stakeholders; the people who ultimately determine whether the project is a success.

Whether you are leading projects or supporting them, effective communication is critical to engage with your stakeholders, to achieve greater buy-in and collaboration. Having stakeholders who are actively involved along the way and participating in resolving problems, contributing ideas and decision-making, leads to more efficient delivery, satisfied stakeholders and successful outcomes for the organisation.

Ranjit combines concepts from Neuro Linguistic Programming, with research from Psychology and Neuroscience, and draws on her experience of implementing best practice project and change management approaches, to provide practical guidance for ensuring effective   project communication and stakeholder engagement.
