Geospatial Partnership

Short description:

The Partnership provides leadership for the heritage and historic environment sector on geospatial issues, including technical and strategic issues with data access and sharing.

The Partnership facilitates the creation and sharing of FAIR geospatial data in five key areas across the sector: leadership, standards, engagement, training and funding.

The Partnership is responsible for:
- Identifying strategic geospatial data issues for the sector
- Agreeing strategic priorities for these geospatial data issues
- Identifying and securing resources (financial and human) to address strategic priorities
- Working with colleagues from outside the Partnership to progress work objectives and achieve goals
- Making relevant decisions about issues
- Communicating and consulting with their respective organisation about aims and progress of the Partnership’s work
