The Data Standards Authority (DSA) aims to enhance data management within the public sector by setting standards. These standards facilitate the sharing and utilization of data more efficiently and effectively across governmental entities.

DSA's goal is to enhances public sector data management by creating standards that facilitate easier and more effective data sharing and use across government. Collaborating with various sectors, the DSA identifies and implements user-centric data standards. Governed transparently with a steering board and peer review groups, it offers guidance and resources for data projects. These include adhering to service standards, the Technology Code of Practice, and effectively using APIs.
