An independent report by the Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation (CDEI) on maximising the beneficial use of personal information held in the public sector. 

Effective use of data is more important now than it has ever been, and this requires a step-change in the way data is shared and used. However, more data also poses risks and challenges to current governance arrangements where they only way to build trust sustainably is to operate in a trustworthy way.
