Nesta's Office of Data Analytics (ODA) Programme aims to provide 'a model for multiple organisations to join up, analyse and act upon data sources from multiple public sector bodies to improve services and make better decisions'. With this programme, pilots have been conducted in London, the north east of England and Essex and case studies are provided for a variety of other authorities. Through these projects Nesta has explored how cities and regions can establish ODAs to get to more intelligent uses of data and collaborative approaches in the public sector, demonstrating that county councils, districts and third parties such as universities are able to work together sharing data and capabilities.
